Commitment dates: 8, 16, 17 Jul AND 21 Jul till 1 Aug –

8,16,17 Jul – Office hours (for trial run and briefing only, will be paid)

During actual convocation period:

Attire: Long-sleeve button blouse, work pants, black covered shoes (formal attire)

Work hours:

8.00am – 8.00pm (Mondays to Fridays) with 1-hour break

8.00am – 5.00pm (Saturdays) with 30 minutes lunchbreak

On 25thJuly 2026 (Saturday): 8.00am – 8.00pm

Job Description:

Ceremony Marshal

You are the face of the event for our graduates; you will be responsible for maintaining formal decorum, ensuring adherence to academic dress codes, and managing the precise movement of graduates throughout the theatre. This position requires a composed, authoritative, and helpful demeanor, as you will be responsible for the orderly conduct of the ceremony’s proceedings.

• Ceremonial Standards: Conduct formal checks on graduate attire to ensure compliance with academic dress codes before they cross the stage.
• Crowd & Flow Management: Direct graduates to their designated seating and manage the smooth ingress and egress of the theatre to prevent bottlenecks.
• Procession Coordination: Manage the orderly line-up of graduates, ensuring they are prepared and in the correct sequence to be presented on stage.
• Stage-Side Operations: Facilitate the controlled movement of graduates during the award presentation, ensuring the ceremony maintains its planned tempo.
• Direct Support: Work closely under the guidance of the Chief Marshal on duty to address any immediate operational needs or logistical adjustments required during the ceremony.
