Trade Relations Officer (12-Month Contract) - Part-Time

Salary: Up to $4,000 (Commensurate with experience)
Location: Central, Singapore
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Trade Relations Officer to support a government-related office in managing trade relations, business engagements, and administrative operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, writing, coordinating events, and working in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings, official visits, and business appointments for senior management.
• Assist in organising business forums, seminars, webinars, networking events, and official functions.
• Prepare meeting materials, reports, briefing papers, and presentation documents.
• Conduct research and monitor regional political, economic, and trade developments.
• Draft reports and summaries on trade, economic issues, and current affairs.
• Translate and summarise Chinese news articles and documents into English where required.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for business events and official visits.
• Perform other duties assigned by senior management.

Requirements

• Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in event coordination or project support will be an advantage.
• Comfortable travelling overseas occasionally for business trips when required.
