Buildings Inspector - Part-Time

Key responsibilities shall include but is not limited to the following:

• Carryout on-site inspections of structural and architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and building codes.
• Perform physical checks such as building facade assessment, concrete/masonry element assessment, concrete reinforcement bar verification, and dimensional measurements using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Inspect ongoing construction activities at various stages, including substructure, superstructure, temporary works, erosion control works and finishing works, ensuring workmanship quality and safety standards are met.
• Access via scaffolding, mobile elevated working platform, cat ladder and confined areas may be required based on work requirement to perform close-up examinations and verify site conditions.
• Record inspection results, prepare detailed site reports with photographic evidence, and highlight any non-conformances or defects for rectification.
• Maintain the quality of products (reports), services, customer support and level of service inline with service level agreements and other retention strategies.

Requirement

• Diploma in building or equivalent
• Class 3 driving license in Singapore
• Work at height certified.
