Class 5 Driver - Part-Time

Job Summary

Perform vehicle checks and drive maintenance vehicles to and from tunnel and slip road sites, ensure workplace safety during maintenance, and transport workers between dormitories and sites.

Responsibilities

Night Shift Work, Up to 15 days (Maximum)

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip function checks on lorries at the office to ensure vehicle readiness and safety before and after site visits.
• Drive the TMWP vehicle from the office to tunnel and slip road sites and back, following site staff instructions for precise vehicle positioning during maintenance work.
• Monitor and assess traffic conditions and workplace safety while supporting maintenance activities on site.
• Transport workers safely from dormitories to work sites during day shifts and return them to dormitories after work.
• Standby at the office or assist with store duties when not transporting workers.
• Conduct maintenance and inspections on the TMWP lorry and 10ft lorry to ensure operational reliability.

Requirement:

• Valid Class 5 license with at least 5 years above driving experience.
• Able to work Day and Night shifts
• Standby for urgent case or emergency incidents is required.
