Construction Manager - Part-Time

[A] Job Description:

1. To lead and oversee the day-to-day construction management, that the project meets the benchmarks and milestones of the project timeline.

2. To supervise and implement the approved Project Execution Plan (PEP).

3. To troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered at the project site.

4. To inspect work in progress, ensuring conformity with specifications and requirements.

5. To liaise with Project Manager and Engineers to oversee all operational and administrative process.

6. To liaise with external sub-contractors, consultants, vendors and clients to work on project progression in accordance with schedule.

7. To coordinate the allocation of resources, materials and labour management.

8. To monitor construction productivity & schedule performance, and to provide modification recommendations for improvement.

9. To comply with site safety and regulatory requirements.

[B] Job Requirements:

1. Minimum a technical diploma in Mechanical or Construction discipline.

2. Minimum 3 years in the construction sector.

3. Those with experience in industrial piping installations will have an added advantage.

4. Solid grasp of construction methods, building compliance and safety regulations.

5. Leadership skills, including task delegation and staff management.

6. Decision-making, analytical and negotiation skills.

7. Ability to work well under pressure.

8. Strong conflict resolution skills.

9. Required WSH competencies: BCSS, CSCPM, MWAH, SWCSO, CSM and bizSAFE L2.
