CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - Part-Time

• Report to Project Director and lead the team/siteworks
• Prepare & review detailed schedule for the site team to follow accordingly and for on-time completion
• Prepare & review detailed method statements and work instructions
• Coordinate all related construction matters with subcontractor/consultant/client
• Prepare & review company reports and documents
• Responsible in resolving technical and claim issues
• Assess subcontractors’ work activities against performance expectation
• Ensure compliance with quality, environment, health & safety requirements
• Organize/Coordinate official meetings or protocols between Singapore, South Korean authorities concerned and various project stakeholders
• Provide periodic updates with project progress to Korean Headquarters in Korean and Singapore Branch Office
• Act as a key liaison for Korean-speaking executives, staff and partners

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 30 years of relevant experience for A1 MNC construction firm, inclusive of at least 20 years at a managerial level
• At least 20 years of experience with complex vehicular structures (viaducts/bridge) and road projects of similar scale and complexity is mandatory for this position
• Well experienced in Bored piling, CBP, ERSS, RCBC Drain Box, Grouting, etc
• Self-motivated, independent individual and possesses great initiatives
• A team leader
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
