As a Mechanic at Teesin Machinery, you will be the technical backbone of our operations. We provide top-tier construction equipment and machinery rental services across Singapore. You will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and overhauling our fleet of light to medium construction machinery—ranging from concrete mixers and power trowels to floor grinders and water pumps—ensuring our equipment is always reliable, safe, and ready for the job site.
Maintenance & Servicing
Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on our rental fleet of petrol, diesel, and electric-powered construction machinery.
Quality Assurance: Inspect and test all equipment upon return from customers, and conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections before machinery is dispatched to construction sites.
Repair & Troubleshooting
Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and basic hydraulic faults in construction equipment (e.g., generators, compressors, surface preparation machines, and concrete equipment).
Overhauls & Fixes: Repair or replace defective parts, overhaul 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, and repair electric motors to restore machinery to optimal working condition.
On-Site Support: Occasionally travel to customer construction sites to perform emergency repairs or equipment troubleshooting.
Workshop Operations
Inventory Tracking: Keep accurate records of spare parts used during repairs and notify the storekeeper or procurement team when parts are running low.
Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment, adhering strictly to workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations.
Education & Experience
Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
At least 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience repairing engines, electric tools, or industrial machinery.
Bonus: Direct experience working with construction equipment (e.g., Honda engines, electric floor grinders, or concrete vibrators) is highly advantageous.
Core Skills
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of internal combustion engines (petrol/diesel), basic electrical wiring, and hydraulic systems.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to quickly diagnose machinery faults and execute effective repairs.
Licenses: A valid Class 3 driving license is highly preferred for attending to on-site repairs.
Attributes
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a workshop team.
Comfortable working in a heavy industrial/workshop environment.
Location: 11 Senoko Avenue, Singapore 758301.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
