Work Scope of Part-Time WSH Officer
1. Review and update the Company’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policy and any other
relevant documents, as well as WSH procedures, to ensure compliance with all relevant safety
regulations, guidelines and legislations.
2. Perform safety audits and inspections of the Company’s worksites to identify potential hazards
and risks through recommending relevant control measures for implementation.
3. Identify and recommend the industry’s best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to
reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
4. Identify any areas of improvement/weakness or deviations/significant changes in the Company, for
recommendation of risk control measures.
5. Conduct In-House training programmes and other safety-related programmes for the Company’s
employees to raise awareness of safety issues.
6. Investigate and review all accidents and incidents, including near-misses and occupational
injuries, to determine root causes, implement preventive measures, and manage return-to-work
activities.
7. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned and/or required.
