QAQC Engineer (Civil & Structure) - Part-Time

JOB SCOPE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct site Audit on the sub-contractor/vendor.

• Ensure that adequate equipment and facilities are provided for verification of product quality.

• Ensure that all controlled documents are administered effectively.

• Quality control of sub-contractors.

• Daily coordination of all site work activities on Civil & Structure.

• Liaising with Client inspector/Authorised inspector to ensure project requirement are fully achieved through out the project.

• Coordinate with sub-contractor/vendor to resolve quality issues and follow up for corrective actions.

• Stipulate and control adequate criteria for workmanship.

• Monitoring the RC piling, Bore piling works.

• Ensure that all inspection, test and identifications are carried out according to quality plan or documented procedures.

• Monitor and witness the testing such as earth compacting test, load test for piling work, raw material for concrete testing, trial mix and cube test, waterproof tests, rebar tests for each sources @ every 1000 tonnes.

• Prepare monthly report submission of concrete cube test, raw material, and rebar.

• Ensure that all quality reports and customers' complaints are analyzed with adequate corrective actions taken.

• Ensure that quality records are properly stored and maintained.

• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering with 5 years QAQC experiences in Construction projects.

• Able to read, understand and interpret technical requirements, quality procedures, drawings.

• Detail-oriented and have strong communication skills and able to work with people from all levels.

• Willing to work at vendor location or site.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office such as Word and Excel.

• Experiences in Construction site work is preferred.
