Senior Supervisor – Instrument & Controls - Part-Time

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor – Instrument &Controls to oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in construction or industrial projects. The successful candidate will ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities related to instrumentation and control systems.
• Coordinate installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of instruments and control systems.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Liaise with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and clients on technical matters.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to instrumentation and control systems.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Prepare and submit daily work reports and progress updates.
• Ensure proper handling and usage of tools, equipment, and materials.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher NITEC in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Instrumentation & Control (I&C) works within construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, PLC, DCS, and control systems.
• Familiar with testing, commissioning, and maintenance procedures.
• Good understanding of Singapore WSH regulations and site safety requirements.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Able to work independently and manage site teams effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or process plant projects.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities with multiple stakeholders.
