Senior Supervisor – Mechanical - Part-Time

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor – Mechanical to oversee mechanical installation, testing, and commissioning works in construction or industrial projects. The successful candidate will ensure all mechanical works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical site activities.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients on site matters.
• Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical installation and technical issues on site.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare daily site reports and progress updates.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical works within construction or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation, and commissioning processes.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage site teams effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial plant projects.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
