Supervisor – Instrument & Controls - Part-Time

Job Description

We are seeking a competent Supervisor – Instrument & Controls to support site operations in the installation, testing, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems. The successful candidate will ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities related to instrumentation and control works.
• Assist in installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of instruments and control systems.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and project teams on site activities.
• Monitor work progress and report daily site updates to management.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on site.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare and submit daily work reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Higher NITEC in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in Instrumentation & Control (I&C) works.
• Basic knowledge of instrumentation systems, PLC, and control systems.
• Able to read technical drawings and understand project specifications.
• Familiar with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Good teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and adapt to site conditions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
• Basic troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.
