Client in the  are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator for a one-year contract project. You will be responsible for overseeing safety compliance, conducting site inspections, and ensuring all work activities adhere to both company policies and regulatory requirements.

about the role 

• Ensure all site operations comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, records, permits, and incident reports.
• Participate in site meetings, toolbox briefings, and safety coordination sessions to reinforce a safety-first culture.
• Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure safety alignment across all work activities.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding site safety progress and status.
• Assist in emergency response planning and execution.

Skills and experience required

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a WSH Coordinator.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience with Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects is required.
• Certifications: Must possess a valid First Aider license.
• Logistics: Must have own transport.
• Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Commitment: Willingness to commit to a 6-day work week.
