WSH COORDINATOR - Part-Time

Job Description

• Implement and monitor the site's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Conduct daily safety inspections on site to identify and address hazards promptly
• Collaborate with sub-contractors’ supervisors to conduct safety inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Verify that all machinery and equipment on site are in good working condition and possess necessary certifications
• Ensure all workers on site are to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Conduct safety talks and briefings to communicate safety procedures and updates effectively
• Lead daily toolbox meetings with sub-contractors to reinforce safety practices and address concerns
• Conduct safety induction programs for new workers to familiarize them with site safety requirements
• Monitor and enforce proper housekeeping by sub-contractors daily to maintain a safe work environment
• Ensure all Quality, Occupational, Health and Safety (OHS) rules, regulations, and practices are observed consistently
• Support management in safety-related matters by providing timely information and recommendations

Job Requirements

• Minimum NITEC Certificate or equivalent
• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Level B
