Job summary
ICT Support Engineer position in the Academic Computing and Information Services division of NIE Primary responsibility is to provide ICT support to NIE stakeholders 3-year contract position
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Handle customers' requests and provide timely and professional IT/AV support • Perform technical analysis and maintenance • Provide IT/AV support for events and meetings • Track and report task completion and meet SLA targets • Document IT/AV-related problems and resolution procedures • Collaborate with cybersecurity team for endpoint security • Participate in IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery • Assist in evaluation and procurement of IT/AV equipment • Maintain records/database of IT/AV assets • Contribute to continual service improvement of IT/AV services and processes
Requirements
• Minimally a Diploma in Information & Communication Technology or equivalent • Preferably with 3 years of experience in ICT support • Good customer service skills • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Proactive, self-motivated, resilient, and work well under pressure • A good team player with creativity and resourcefulness • Keen on discovering and assessing new technology • Result-oriented with a strong sense of accountability • Good knowledge and skills in computer troubleshooting, network, applications, and operating systems support • Good working knowledge of audio/video equipment • Proficient in problem diagnostics and resolution • Certification in IT Information Library (ITIL) Foundation is an advantage
