Part-Time Assistant Pet Groomer

What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Groomer, you are the backbone of our salon’s daily operations, ensuring our furry clients feel safe, clean, and loved. Your main responsibilities include:

• Bathing & Drying: Confidently brush, detangle, bathe, and blow-dry dogs and cats of various breeds and sizes.

• Basic Hygiene Prep: Perform nail clipping, ear cleaning, paw pad trimming, and sanitary shaves.

• Pet Handling & Safety: Safely handle and calm anxious or energetic pets during the grooming process, prioritizing their well-being at all times.

• Salon Maintenance: Keep the grooming stations, tools, and salon floor clean, sanitized, and organized to maintain our high standards of hygiene.

• Customer Service: Assist with welcoming clients, managing appointments, and ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out process.

Who We Are Looking For

• The Ultimate Animal Lover: A genuine passion for animals and a patient, gentle approach to handling them.

• Experience: Prior experience in a pet salon, vet clinic, or animal shelter is highly preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is a must.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift/handle heavier dogs.

• Team Player: A positive, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Reliability: Punctual, responsible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
