Café Leitz by GLAZE is a specialty coffee and tea bar located within Leica Store South Beach Quarter. Inspired by Leica's appreciation for craftsmanship and intentional living, we believe in slowing down and creating meaningful experiences through coffee, tea, and hospitality.

Our café is home to a community of photographers, creatives, and coffee lovers, and we're looking for someone who shares our appreciation for quality, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality.

About the Role

We are looking for a warm, reliable and passionate Barista to join our team and work alongside our Head Barista and Operations Manager.

This role goes beyond making coffee. You'll help create memorable experiences for our guests while working in one of Singapore's most unique design-led café spaces.

What You'll Do

Craft espresso-based and non-coffee beverages to our standards

Provide warm, attentive hospitality and assist customers with orders

Operate the POS system and manage customer transactions

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and café

Assist with opening and/or closing duties

Support daily operations and work closely with the team during service

We're Looking For Someone Who

Has prior experience working in a café or specialty coffee environment

Takes pride in consistency and attention to detail

Is punctual, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team

Brings positive energy and genuine hospitality to every interaction

Has experience with espresso preparation and milk texturing

SCA certification or formal coffee training is a plus, but a passion for the craft matters most.

Compensation

Hourly rate: S$12–14 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
