Join our team as a Visitor Services Assistant, where you will provide calm and respectful support to visitors by assisting with directions, self-service kiosks, and routine cremation and ash collection enquiries, ensuring a smooth and dignified experience for every visitor.

Nearest MRT: Springleaf

Shift: AM8.00am-5.00pm or PM 12.30pm-10.00pm (3-4 shifts per week, including weekends and public holidays)

Salary: $12 - $ 15 per hour

Role Summary

Provide calm, respectful and accurate frontline assistance to visitors at North area. The role supports way finding, self-help kiosk use and routine enquiries relating to cremation and ash collection in a sensitive after-death service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clear directions and guide visitors to the correct facilities or service points.

• Assist visitors with self-help kiosks while protecting their privacy and personal information.

• Answer routine cremation and ash-collection enquiries using approved information and escalate uncertain or sensitive matters.

• Maintain a calm, respectful and non-intrusive service presence when assisting grieving families and members of the public.

• Remain at the assigned station, follow the approved roster and handover arrangements, and report attendance or service issues promptly.

• Comply with uniform, identification, confidentiality, workplace safety and professional-conduct requirements.

Requirements

• Customer-facing experience in service, hospitality, front desk, visitor support, healthcare support or a similar role is preferred.

• Able to communicate clearly in spoken and written English; Mandarin, Tamil, Malay or dialect capability is an advantage.

• Patient, emotionally mature, culturally sensitive and comfortable working in an after-death service environment.

• Reliable, punctual, well-groomed and available for rostered weekend and public-holiday shifts.

• Comfortable using basic digital systems and guiding visitors through self-help kiosks.
