Driver Assistant (Part-time)

Responsibilities

1. Deliver items promptly to meet scheduled timelines
2. Communicate schedule changes clearly to customers and operations teams
3. Inspect and maintain vehicles, trolleys, and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition
4. Assist in daily inventory and cash tallying to maintain accurate records
5. Follow warehouse procedures for safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods
6. Clean and maintain hygiene standards of the premises
7. Greet and assist both long-term and short-term visitors or customers
8. Required competencies and certifications
9. Hold a valid Class 3 or Class 4 driving license
10. Demonstrate experience driving lorries or assisting drivers
11. Maintain physical fitness to perform job duties safely and effectively
12. Preferred competencies and qualifications
13. Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays (Thursday to Saturday)
14. Availability to work the night shift from 8am to 5pm
