We are seeking a skilled Art/Painting Conservator to provide professional interventive and preventive conservation services for museum collections. The role involves condition assessments, conservation treatments, documentation, preventive care, exhibition support, and artwork handling while adhering to internationally recognized conservation standards and ethics.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct condition assessments and prepare conservation reports.
• Perform conservation and restoration treatments for paintings.
• Carry out preventive conservation and environmental monitoring.
• Support exhibition installation, de-installation, framing, and mounting.
• Document all conservation work with reports and photographs.
• Assist with artwork handling and loan-related conservation activities.
• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and maintain accurate timesheets.

Requirements

• Degree in Painting Conservation, Art Conservation, or a related field.
• Experience in painting conservation within museums, galleries, or cultural institutions.
• Knowledge of international conservation standards and ethical practices.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
