Industrial Design Trainee - Part-Time

Job Description

As an Industrial Design Trainee at Razer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our design team and contribute to the creation of cutting-edge gaming peripherals and hardware. You’ll gain hands-on experience in product design, 3D modeling, and visualization software. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable skills and insights into the world of industrial design.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers to develop concepts and sketches for new products.

• Create detailed 3D models using software such as Rhino or Alias

• Assist in the development of prototypes and mock-ups.

• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Conduct research on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Support the design team in various tasks related to product development.

Learning Objectives:

• Gain proficiency in Rhino, KeyShot, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

• Understand the product development lifecycle from concept to production.

• Learn about ergonomic design principles and user-centered design.

• Enhance your communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidate Requirements:

• Graduated with a Degree/Diploma in Industrial Design or Product Design

• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Rhino preferred).

• Familiarity with rendering software (KeyShot).

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Passion for gaming and technology.
