AEIS Secondary Level Part-time English Teacher

Role Overview

EIC is seeking a part-time specialist English teacher for the AEIS Secondary cohort, preparing students for the

Admission Exercise for International Students (AEIS). The successful candidate will bring a record of student

success.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver AEIS Secondary English/Mathematics lessons in line with EIC's approved course design and

delivery materials.

• Apply differentiated, mastery-based instruction to meet the needs of learners at varying proficiency levels.

• Prepare students through structured exam practice, mock assessments and targeted feedback.

• Record student attendance

• Liaise with the Head ACE on student progress as required.

• Where qualified, deliver AEIS Secondary English/Mathematics lessons to eligible classes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in English, Education, or a related discipline (Mathematics-related degree or

qualification required if also teaching Mathematics).

• Relevant secondary-level teaching experience, ideally within AEIS preparation or MOE-aligned examination

coaching.

• A track record of student examination outcomes.

• Familiarity with the Singapore secondary curriculum and the AEIS examination format.

Desirable

• Ability to teach both English and Mathematics at Secondary level (combined specialist role).

• Prior experience teaching in an SSG-registered private education institution/AEIS-focused tuition centre.

Payment

$50 per hour
