We are offering competitive salaries to hire passionate and dynamic Ballet teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. This role combines teaching responsibilities with general operations, events coordination, and customer service support.
- Plan and deliver structured ballet lessons.
- Conduct lessons and activities in line with school standards and plans set by HQ.
- Prepare students for performances, exams, and competitions.
- Engage parents through showcases, parent-teacher meetings, and regular communications.
- Guide and support Operations personnel with dance-related matters.
- Monitor and review student retention and conversion rates to support enrolment growth.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of dance curriculum and training manuals.
- Provide feedback from training assignments to support curriculum R&D.
- Support HQ in recruiting and retaining quality dance teachers.
- Contribute to the professional development of local and overseas instructors.
- Provide front-line customer service, including handling inquiries, feedback, and requests.
- Maintain accurate student records and take attendance.
- Assist with registration, enrolment, and scheduling.
- Manage parent communications on student progress, events, and policies.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized studio environment by overseeing equipment, stocks, and daily upkeep.
- Collaborate on marketing and outreach activities, including social media, community events, and open houses.
- Work with HQ to organize concerts, recitals, and competitions.
- Choreograph and prepare students for performances, coordinating rehearsals, costumes, music, and props.
- Lead or support special projects such as exchange programs and holiday dance camps.
- Attend regular meetings and trainings organized by HQ.
· Diploma or degree in Dance, Ballet, or equivalent professional ballet training (e.g., Royal Academy of Dance, CSTD or other recognised syllabus).
· Proven experience in teaching ballet to children, teens, as well as adults at beginner to advanced levels.
· Strong knowledge of classical ballet techniques, terminology, and performance practices.
· Ability to choreograph and prepare students for examinations, performances, and competitions.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to engage and motivate students.
· Passionate about dance education and committed to nurturing students’ artistic and personal growth.
· Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers, operations, admin and management staff.
· Physically fit to demonstrate ballet movements and correct students’ techniques safely.
· Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and during school holiday programmes as required.
· Certificate in Dance Teaching (Ballet) is an advantage.
