Band CCA Instructor - Part-Time

Job Description:

• Work closely with the Main Band Instructor to develop student's instrumental playing skills and techniques.
• Teach and coach students in the assigned band instrument, focusing on ensemble performance and tone quality.
• Prepare students for school performances through structured training and repertoire practice.
• Serve as a positive role model and foster student's character, values, and teamwork in line with the school's core values.

Requirements:

• Minimum ABRSM Grade 8 (Practical) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized music examination board.
• At least 3 years of experience playing the relevant musical instrument.
• Strong instrumental performance skills with the ability to coach and mentor students.
• Competent in delivering Band CCA training and handling assigned responsibilities.
• Preferably at least 2 years of coaching experience in the relevant band instrumental group.
• Strong coaching, communication, and student engagement skills.
