Global Innovation Education Group (GIEG) is seeking a creative and pedagogically grounded Curriculum Developer & Instructional Writer to lead the creation of a 30-module AI Literacy English Storybook Series.
In this role, you will bridge future-ready technology skills with engaging narrative storytelling. MOE 21CC Alignment: Ensure every module incorporates MOE’s 21st Century Competencies (Critical & Inventive Thinking, Civic Literacy, Global Awareness, Communication, and Information Skills).
Pedagogical Structuring: Develop accompanying learning objectives, vocabulary lists, discussion prompts, and reflection activities for teachers/parents for each storybook.
Design & Illustration Briefing: Collaborate with graphics/media designers to provide visual prompts, character beats, and layout guides for every 10-page story arc.
Quality Assurance: Review and refine content to ensure age-appropriate language, engaging pacing, and accurate AI concepts.
Background in Education/Curriculum Design: Diploma or Degree in Education, English Literature, Linguistics, Curriculum & Teaching, or equivalent. Ex-MOE teachers or experienced curriculum writers for primary/early childhood levels are strongly preferred.
Strong Pedagogical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with MOE's 21st Century Competency Framework and Singapore's English language learning standards.
Creative Writing & Storytelling Talent: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts (AI, technology, ethics) through fun, relatable storytelling and memorable characters.
Attention to Detail: Excellent command of English grammar, tone, and pacing suitable for young learners.
Project Management Skills: Ability to work independently and deliver completed modules against structured milestones.
Primary Office: Regus Signature Asia Square Tower 1 (Singapore Financial District) / Shenton Way
Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Flexible options available upon discussion.
Please submit your CV along with a writing portfolio or sample curriculum work (preferably showcasing children's writing, storyboards, or lesson plans).
