Educational Therapist/Teacher (SCIENCE) - Part-Time

• Position : Educational Therapist/Teacher (SCIENCE)
• Location : Bedok/Bishan/Chua Chu Kang/Henderson/Jurong Point/Parkway Parade/Rex/Sengkang/Serangoon/Tampines/Woodlands/Yishun.
• Working hours : 4 Week Days + 1 Weekend (Roster Hours)
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $50/HOUR
• Duration : PART-TIME
• Industry : Social/Educational/Special Needs

Main Responsibilities:

• Delivering lesson plans face-to-face and/or online lessons that meet the students' needs and abilities, in line with the guidelines of the SES Science curriculum.
• Monitoring the progress of the students based on their Pre & Post Science Assessments as well as during Science lessons.
• Sharing information on progress of students and discussing issues if any, with parents on a termly basis.
• Fulfilling administrative responsibilities such as marking attendance for all lessons.
• Attending all training sessions provided by the Science team.
• Participating in the Quality Assurance Audit (QAA) annually to ensure that our Science Programmes are of high quality and its effectiveness throughout the year.
• Responding to relief teaching needs where necessary.
• Participating in research to evaluate the effectiveness of the Science Programme (optional).

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree from a recognised institution or university, in any discipline
• Relevant teaching experience in mainstream schools will be an advantage
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekday evenings (4 week nights per week) and weekends
