English Teacher - Part-Time

Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our growing team and inspire young learners to develop strong language skills. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that build confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach English to young learners and primary-level students using engaging and age-appropriate methods.
• Plan and deliver lessons that develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Create a positive, supportive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the academic team to ensure lesson quality and consistency.

Requirements:

• A recognized degree in a relevant discipline such as Teaching, Education, Early Childhood Studies, English, English Literature, or Linguistics is preferred.
• Candidates with a diploma qualification must have formal training in a closely related field, including Teaching, Education, Early Childhood Studies, English Language, English Literature, or Linguistics.
• A minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience or equivalent professional experience in a related role.
• Proven experience teaching young learners and/or primary students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey.

Nice to Have (Plus):

• Curriculum writing or lesson material development experience.
• Familiarity with local primary English curriculum frameworks and assessment standards.
