Relief Preschool Teacher (English And Chinese) - Part-Time

About the Role

Shaws Preschool Group is looking for passionate and reliable Relief Preschool Teachers (English and Chinese) to support our centres on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for qualified teachers who enjoy working with young children and are looking for a flexible work arrangement.

As a Relief Teacher, you will step into classrooms to ensure continuity of care and learning while maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and supervision for children in accordance with ECDA regulations.
• Carry out planned learning experiences and daily classroom routines.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive learning environment.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Work collaboratively with the Centre Principal and teaching team.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure children's safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Complete basic classroom documentation when required.

Requirements

• Minimum ACEY, Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education, or equivalent ECDA-recognised qualification.
• L1 or L2 certified
• Previous experience in a preschool setting is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Caring, responsible, adaptable, and able to work in different centre environments.
• Able to accept assignments at short notice when required.

• Short-notice relief coverage
• Multiple weekdays
