Job Description

Research Assistant in Economics for the DebiaSING project on bias in large language models.

Scope and Responsibilities:

The Research Assistant will support the DebiaSING project by assisting with economics and research tasks related to bias in large language models and the broader human-AI complex. Typical responsibilities may include cleaning and analysing datasets, reviewing and extending research code and pipelines, preparing analytical outputs and documentation, and supporting presentations and publication-related work.

Required skills and interests:

Strong interest in economics, data analysis, and research on bias in large language models or related human-AI topics. Demonstrated ability to work with quantitative data and research software such as R and Stata is desirable, together with careful attention to detail and good written communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics or a closely related discipline, with strong academic performance. Prior research assistant experience, coursework in econometrics or machine learning, and familiarity with statistical analysis tools would be advantageous.
