Research Fellow (NIE-SoLEC) - Part-Time

The National Institute of Education invites suitable applications for the position of Research Fellow on a 9-month contract (part-time) at the Science of Learning in Education Centre.

Project Title: SoLEC Pot 4

Project Introduction: Conducting research for AI in education, data collection, literature review writing, research proposal, and administrative assistance for grants.

Requirements:

PhD in education, Psychology, Data Science, Computer Science, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of research projects related to AI in education and data learning analytics.

• Conduct data collection, data cleaning, management, and analysis using appropriate research tools and software.

• Support the development of research proposals, ethics applications, literature reviews, and grant submissions.

• Prepare research reports, presentations, publications, minutes, and dissemination materials.

• Monitor project progress and maintain accurate research documentation and databases.

• Coordinate with stakeholders, research participants, and project collaborators.

• Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing project timelines, procurement, and compliance reporting.

• Assist with dissemination activities such as conferences, workshops, and stakeholder engagement events.

• Perform other research-related duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator or research team.
