Job Summary

Deliver personalised, engaging Science lessons that strengthen conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and examination techniques to support student academic growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging one-to-one/small group Science lessons tailored to individual student needs to enhance learning outcomes
• Develop personalised learning plans based on diagnostic assessments and student progress
• Strengthen students’ conceptual understanding and examination techniques through targeted instruction
• Monitor student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to optimize learning effectiveness
• Provide clear and timely academic updates and recommendations to parents to support student development
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date lesson records and student progress reports to track learning outcomes
• Demonstrate strong subject mastery by simplifying complex Science concepts for diverse student levels
• Communicate effectively with students and parents to foster a supportive learning environment
• Commit reliably to a consistent teaching schedule for a minimum of 12 months to ensure continuity of learning
• Uphold professionalism and responsibility focused on achieving positive student outcomes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree holder preferred in Science, Engineering, or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience preferred
• Familiarity with MYP and MOE Science Syllabus
• Experience teaching Primary and/or Secondary Science
