Senior Assistant Manager, Faculty Affairs [West / PERM] - Part-Time

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Assistant Manager, Faculty Affairs to oversee faculty administration, recruitment, engagement, and strategic operations. This role partners closely with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient faculty lifecycle management while supporting the organisation's academic and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full faculty lifecycle, including recruitment, appointments, onboarding, performance appraisal, promotions, reappointments, and offboarding.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-quality academic talent while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and governance.
• Drive faculty engagement, culture, well-being, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives.
• Manage faculty-related matters, including welfare, performance, student-faculty issues, and case management.
• Oversee the planning and management of faculty offices, workspaces, research facilities, and shared infrastructure to optimise space utilisation.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and internal stakeholders to implement faculty policies, initiatives, and operational improvements.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, presentations, and data analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Maintain accurate faculty records and databases while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency across faculty administration.
• Provide guidance and support to team members while fostering a collaborative and service-oriented work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Education, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in faculty administration, human resources, people management, or a related field.
• Strong experience managing end-to-end recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and stakeholder management.
