Student Care Chinese Teacher / 华文老师 (MULTIPLE LOCATIONS) - Part-Time

As a Student Care Teacher with PlayFACTO, you will help develop student’s hearts and minds using our unique positive education framework, daily enrichment programmes, and guided assistance of each student's Primary homework assignments.

Job Summary

PlayFACTO @ Woodlands seeks experienced and passionate Student Care Teachers to deliver Chinese lessons and support primary students’ language development through homework supervision, progress communication, and classroom engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and present Chinese lesson content to primary school children (P1 to P6) to enhance language proficiency
• Supervise and guide students in completing Chinese homework, spelling practice, tests, and lesson assignments to reinforce learning outcomes
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to report on children’s Chinese language progress and address learning needs
• Prepare lesson materials and organize student worksheets to ensure smooth lesson delivery and record-keeping
• Perform administrative tasks related to lesson preparation and documentation to support centre operations
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the Centre Head to contribute to the overall success of the student care programme

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in education, student care, or classroom teaching, preferably at the primary school level
• Strong command of the Chinese language demonstrated through teaching or tutoring experience
• Effective communication skills to manage classroom dynamics and engage with students and parents
• Commitment to developing children’s educational and character growth
• Willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic educational environment
