Student Support Officer (1 Year Up To $2.5k) - Part-Time

Job Summary

Support students through mentoring, engagement activities, and behaviour management initiatives while working closely with school staff and parents to promote positive student development and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one mentoring and support to students, including those with behavioural or disciplinary challenges.
• Build positive relationships with students to encourage personal growth, motivation, and well-being.
• Plan and facilitate motivational talks, engagement activities, and character development programmes.
• Support the school in gathering information and assisting with student discipline matters.
• Conduct after-school neighbourhood patrols to engage and monitor students where required.
• Work closely with parents and guardians on student behaviour, discipline, and development.
• Assist the Discipline Team with administrative and ad-hoc duties related to student management.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with families with children and youth
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Other Information

• Location: Boon Lay
• Working Schedule: Mon - Wed & Fri (8.30am - 2.30pm) Thu (8.00am - 4.30pm) - 30 min lunch break
• Salary: $2,200 - $2,500
