Teacher (Part-Time, Evening)

Job Description & Requirements:

CareNights provides night care to children aged 5-14 years old, in order to support low-income families who need to attend night courses, doing overtime/night shift or attending to emergencies. Currently operating in Bedok North Avenue 3, Hougang and Sengkang. We are hiring!

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and supervise children enrolled in the CareNights programme on weekday evenings from 5pm to 10pm.

Assist in the coordination, and implementation of learning activities and programmes

Deliver Morning Star’s values curriculum

Coach and mentor children using positive discipline methods

2. Manage volunteers

3. Basic housekeeping duties

*Training will be provided for candidates who are hired.

Requirements

• At least 'A' Level / Diploma holder
• Childcare/student care experience an advantage
• Possess a sense of responsibility towards the care of our clients and the organisation
• Able to engage children from disadvantaged family background
• Good written and oral communication skills
