About Axiom Education

Axiom Education is a tuition centre in Holland Village specialising in the IP, IB, IGCSE, and O-Level syllabuses. Our 1-to-1 sessions exist because every school teaches the same subjects differently and students need someone who knows their specific syllabus, not a generic lesson plan. We pair students with tutors who have recently been through the same curriculum, because the best person to explain an exam is someone who just aced it.

The Role

You'll conduct1-to-1 sessions tailored to each student's individual school syllabus and weak areas. Sessions run in a 4-hour block between 4–8 PM on weekdays. You choose which days work for you, at our Holland Village centre.

What You'll Teach

We offer tutoring across subjects and levels from Sec 1 through to JC2 and IB Year 6. You only need to be strong in the subject(s) and level(s) you teach.

• Sec 1–4 / Grade 7–10: Mathematics, Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Economics
• JC 1–2: H1/H2 Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
• IB Year 5–6 / Grade 11–12: HL/SL Mathematics, Economics, Chemistry, Physics

Pay & Schedule

• $30-hour block per session (4:00–8:00 PM window for Weekdays, 9am - 1pm and 1- 5pm for weekends)
• 2–5 days per week
• Estimated monthly earnings: $960 (2 days/wk) to $2400 (5 days/wk)

Who We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at or recently graduated from a local university (NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD, SIT, SUSS)
• Strong grades in the subject(s) you want to teach : O-Level, A-Level, or IB. Candidates who have personally gone through the A Level / IB program are strongly preferred
• Able to commit to a recurring weekly schedule
• Patient, clear communicator (you enjoy explaining, not just knowing)
• Available on weekday afternoons (4–8 PM) and Weekends (9am - 1pm or 1pm - 5pm)

Prior tutoring experience is a bonus, but not required.
