Part-Time Tutor (Primary & Secondary Levels)

Job Summary

Tutor's Studios is seeking passionate and dedicated part-time tutors to provide personalized 1-to-1 or group tuition for Primary and Secondary school students across Singapore. We welcome university students, JC students, polytechnic students, fresh graduates, and experienced educators who have a strong academic background and a passion for helping students excel.

Tutors will be matched with students based on their subject expertise, preferred locations, and availability. Attractive hourly rates and flexible working schedules are provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and effective 1-to-1/group tuition lessons for Primary and/or Secondary students.
• Lesson materials are provided
• Prepare customised teaching approaches according to students' learning needs.
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide feedback to parents when necessary.
• Assist students in improving examination techniques, homework completion, and concept understanding.
• Motivate and mentor students to build confidence and develop positive learning habits.
• Provide additional support during examination periods when required.

Requirements

• Polytechnic, Junior College or University students are welcome to apply.
• Strong academic results in the subjects taught.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about teaching and mentoring students.
• Prior tutoring experience is advantageous but not compulsory.
• Ex-MOE teachers and full-time tutors are encouraged to apply.

Salary & Benefits

• Primary Level: SGD $25 – $85 per hour
• Secondary Level: SGD $30 – $140 per hour
• Higher rates available for: A-Math, Pure Sciences, Urgent assignments, Exam preparation classes, Intensive programmes
