👥 Class Format: Small-group tuition, with a maximum of 6 students per class

TutorJohn Learning Centre is a growing tuition brand with three branches across Singapore—two in Choa Chu Kang and one in Tampines.

We provide English, Mathematics, Science and Chinese lessons for Primary and Secondary students.

As our team expands, we are looking for passionate student tutors and graduate tutors who are interested in gaining teaching experience and growing in the education field.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Conduct Engaging Chinese Lessons

• Teach Primary and/or Secondary Chinese
• Deliver structured lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus
• Guide students in vocabulary, comprehension, composition and oral communication
• Help students improve their language foundation and examination skills

✅ Support Student Progress

• Identify students’ language weaknesses and learning gaps
• Provide guidance on composition writing and answering techniques
• Monitor students’ progress and provide feedback when required

✅ Support Centre Operations

• Assist with marking compositions, worksheets and assignments
• Prepare or organise lesson materials when required
• Complete simple class-related administrative duties

Who We Are Looking For

✔ Student tutor, undergraduate or graduate tutor
✔ Strong command of written and spoken Chinese
✔ Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Chinese syllabus
✔ Patient, responsible and comfortable working with children
✔ Able to explain language concepts clearly
✔ Able to commit consistently on at least one weekend day per week
