Assembly Technician / Project Technician - 5 Days Work - Part-Time

Hiring: Assembly Technician (Permanent Full-Time) & Project Technician/Trainee (6-Month Contract)

We are looking for motivated and hands-on individuals to join our team as an Assembly Technician or Project Technician/Trainee. Whether you are starting your career or looking to gain practical technical experience, we welcome candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

1. Assembly Technician (Permanent Full-Time)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform production assembly and stock inventory management.

• Assemble patch panels, breakout kits, fiber enclosures, and related products.

• Handle materials required for assembly purposes.

• Coil fiber optic cables according to operational requirements.

• Update stock and material movements in ERP systems, stock cards, and Excel stock lists.

• Carry out receiving, unpacking, picking, packing, and store activities.

• Assist with stock take and inventory counting activities.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of records.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level qualification.

• Basic computer literacy (Email, Microsoft Excel).

• Able to read and write in English.

• Candidates with no working experience are welcome to apply — training will be provided.

• Responsible, hands-on, and willing to learn.

2. Project Technician / Trainee (6-Month Contract)

Job Responsibilities

• Install equipment into system cabinets and junction boxes according to engineering drawings and work instructions.

• Perform internal wiring and termination of equipment within system cabinets and junction boxes.

• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities by assisting with equipment laydown, system setup, and staging preparation.

• Perform other tasks as required to support project execution in the staging environment.

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Basic computer literacy.

• At least 1 year of relevant working experience is preferred.
