Associate Consultant – Full Stack Engineer - Part-Time

As an Associate Consultant – Full Stack Engineer, you'll be part of a collaborative product team building modern web applications that streamline business processes, improve user experiences, and support data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using modern technologies.
• Build responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Develop robust back-end services and APIs using Node.js.
• Design, optimise, and maintain relational databases using MySQL.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues, optimise system performance, and implement enhancements.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development practices.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing full-stack web applications.
• Hands-on experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and MySQL is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of front-end development principles, component-based architecture, and responsive web design.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Good understanding of relational database design and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-driven with a willingness to learn new technologies and work in an Agile environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerised application development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
• Understanding of application security best practices and performance optimisation.
• Experience developing enterprise or customer-facing digital platforms.
