Commissioning Engineer (Power Generation Systems) - (1 Year Contract) - Part-Time

• Location: West Region

• Monday to Friday: 8am to 5.10pm

• Basic + Completion Bonus

A leading engineering solutions provider specialising in industrial and power generation equipment services.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation inspections and commissioning activities at project sites.

• Coordinate with customers, project engineers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.

• Prepare, test, start up, and commission generators, pump sets, and marine propulsion engines for offshore, marine, and industrial applications.

• Provide technical support for mechanical and electrical workshop activities, including equipment testing and rental operations when required.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform system testing to ensure optimal equipment performance.

• Prepare commissioning reports and maintain accurate project documentation.

• Travel overseas when required to support commissioning and technical service assignments.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in power generation systems within industrial, marine, electric power, or oil and gas industries.

• Experience working with industrial engines and power generation equipment is highly preferred.

• Familiar with generator control systems, synchronisation, and parallel operations.

• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and technical documentation.

• Possess good IT proficiency, analytical thinking, and report writing skills.

• Class 3 Driving Licence is preferred.

• Willingness to travel overseas for commissioning and project support assignments.
