CLT Programme Overview

Selected candidates will undergo a structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) programme, supported by real-world projects, mentorship, and targeted training courses. Participants will gain hands-on experience in analyzing complex manufacturing datasets, developing statistical and machine learning models, generating actionable insights from industrial data, and supporting the deployment of AI-driven solutions within advanced manufacturing and semiconductor environments.

The programme aims to equip participants with practical skills in data analytics, predictive modelling, data visualization, MLOps, and industrial AI applications, preparing them to contribute effectively to customer-facing AI projects and business innovation initiatives.

Roles& Responsibilities

We are seeking a Data Scientist with an interest in data analytics, insight generation, and optimization for manufacturing data. In this role, you will work independently alongside senior data scientists to analyze manufacturing datasets involving time-series sensor data, develop statistical analysis, and explore AI/ML.

Your Role and Impact

This role will focus on analyzing complex manufacturing datasets, developing predictive models, and implementing solutions for customers.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, AI development, or related projects. Fresh graduates with relevant project experience may also be considered.
3. Experience working with manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial datasets will be an advantage.
4. Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin), both written and spoken, to support communication with clients and stakeholders.
5. Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and ownership of deliverables.
6. Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
8. Based in Singapore or willing to relocate.

Technical Skills

1. Proficiency in Python.
2. Solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning/deep learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, LightGBM, XGBoost, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
3. Experience in data visualization tools and libraries such as Plotly and Seaborn.
4. Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including modularity, version control, and testing.

Soft Skills

1. Ability to communicate technical findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
2. Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
3. Self-motivated learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.

Bonus Skills

1. Knowledge of IoT data and manufacturing processes.
2. Experience in deploying machine learning models into production environments.
3. Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
