Facilities Engineer - Part-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to support our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation in Singapore. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of facility operations within a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring the site remains compliant, safe, and operationally ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all facility systems and building infrastructure including cleanrooms, fire protection, security, pest control, gowning services, cGMP cleaning and sanitisation, and general building maintenance
• Partner with vendors and service providers to establish KPIs, conduct performance audits, and ensure all outsourced services are delivered to agreed SLA standards
• Own and manage facilities-related Non-Conformances (NCs) and CAPA actions, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and documentation in line with GMP requirements
• Maintain facilities work orders for routine and non-routine maintenance activities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and compliance across all site zones
• Manage and continuously improve facilities-related SOPs, records, and documentation in accordance with GxP and regulatory requirements
• Support audit readiness by preparing audit and war rooms, ensuring facility compliance, and addressing any findings in a timely manner
• Coordinate schedules across operations, maintenance, and administrative functions to ensure effective and uninterrupted facilities programme delivery
• Manage all soft services including couriers, stationery, meeting rooms, café, pantry, and bus services
• Partner with EHS to support sustainability initiatives and participate actively in the site emergency response team

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of facilities or engineering experience in a GMP-regulated environment
• Knowledge of NC/CAPA, change control, and GMP documentation practices
• Experience managing contractors and vendors against KPIs and SLAs
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
• Customer-service oriented with a proactive, hands-on approach
