Field Service Engineer - Part-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment at customer sites. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with technical training or experience in engineering and semiconductor manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and commission backend equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and equipment support activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Support machine upgrades, conversions, and software updates.
• Conduct software installation, configuration, and verification.
• Perform functional testing to ensure equipment operates correctly.
• Work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare service reports and provide feedback on equipment performance.

Requirements

• ITE, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment support, maintenance, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with Die Bonder, Wire Bonder, and/or Molding equipment will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of machine interfaces and networking is a plus.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Able to work independently.

Contract Duration: 6 or 12 months
