Full Stack Developer / Engineer (Lead) - Part-Time

We are a Layer 1 blockchain company with active operations across the United States, Singapore, and Dubai. We run an ongoing digital currency project serving the US market, alongside a new and expanding engagement in the UAE. As we grow our technology footprint in Singapore, we are building a regional engineering hub to lead product development, infrastructure, and team growth.

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Full Stack Developer to take on a Lead role based in Singapore. This is a founding engineering leadership position — you will be the anchor of our Singapore technology team, responsible for overseeing active blockchain projects, building and mentoring the local development team, and working closely with leadership across geographies to deliver mission-critical infrastructure.

This role is both hands-on and strategic. You will contribute code while simultaneously driving architecture decisions, managing developer resources, and ensuring delivery standards across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Serve as the technical lead for all engineering workstreams across our active US digital currency project and the new Dubai initiative
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable full stack applications on a Layer 1 blockchain architecture
• Drive architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical standards across the team
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability of all blockchain-related systems and integrations

Team Building & Management

• Build and grow the Singapore-based technology team from the ground up — including hiring, onboarding, and mentoring developers
• Define team structure, engineering workflows, and development best practices
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative engineering culture
• Manage day-to-day developer workload, sprint planning, and delivery milestones

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of full stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js or equivalent) and backend technologies (Node.js, Python, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with blockchain development — smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, token standards, and on-chain/off-chain architecture
• Experience building or contributing to Layer 1 or Layer 2 blockchain projects is highly preferred
• Solid understanding of cryptographic principles, digital wallets, and decentralised finance infrastructure
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with API design, microservices architecture, and database management (SQL and NoSQL)
