Inside Sales Representative - Part-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to drive order processing, manage sales inquiries, and maximize customer accounts. In this role, you will handle incoming sales requests, manage fulfillment workflows, and leverage customer insights to upsell and cross-sell relevant products.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management & Execution: Receive, verify, and log sales orders submitted via email or phone into systems, coordinate fulfillment with supply chain teams, and keep clients updated on inventory levels and delivery schedules.

Account Growth & Upselling: Increase order value by proactively recommending complementary products, highlighting key features and benefits, and analyzing past customer buying habits to identify sales opportunities.

Client Support: Serve as a responsive primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding product lines, pricing, and order status.

Requirements

Experience:

Proven sales background (experience in retail sales, banking, telemarketing, or general client-facing sales roles is welcome).

Prior experience in the distribution industry is a strong advantage.

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable using CRM/order management tools.

Core Competencies:

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

High attention to detail in data entry and order verification.

Proactive selling and persuasive communication abilities.
