Java Developer - Part-Time

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for application development, technical design, system integration, and supporting enterprise-grade platforms in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful API development, and enterprise application integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Develop and support Microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs.

• Participate in application architecture, technical design, and solution development activities.

• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Integrate applications with enterprise platforms, external vendor systems, payment gateways, and third-party services.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.

• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and development best practices.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Support CI/CD implementation and deployment activities.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and system design artifacts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher).

• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.

• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and Microservices-based applications.

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns.

• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL development.

• Experience with version control tools such as Git.

• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, payment systems, billing platforms, or regulated environments.

• Experience integrating with payment gateways, banking systems, government systems, or enterprise platforms.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and API security standards.

• Professional certifications in Java, Cloud Technologies, or Solution Architecture will be advantageous.
