JAVA Software Engineer - Part-Time

Job Overview

We are looking for a Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot to develop scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in microservices architecture, RESTful API development, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and support microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions
• Participate in application design, technical discussions, code reviews, and solution implementation
• Develop and integrate APIs and backend services following best practices and coding standards
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases for application development and data management
• Support CI/CD processes, application deployments, and DevOps workflows
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications to improve performance and stability
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of emerging technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework
• Exposure to Spring ecosystem tools such as Spring Data and Spring Security
• Experience developing and maintaining Microservices and REST APIs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Basic hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application deployment
• Good understanding of API design principles and service communication patterns
• Working knowledge of SQL and databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, or MS SQL
• Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is advantageous
• Experience with Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and DevOps workflows
• Knowledge of J2EE, Web Services, and Node.js is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Java Developer certification is an advantage
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are an added advantage
• Exposure to Kubernetes and cloud-native application deployment is beneficial
