Lead Piping / Pipe Stress Engineer - Part-Time

For an upcoming drilling rig construction and reactivation project in Singapore, Peak Ocean is assembling an owner-side PMT. We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Piping/Pipe Stress Engineer to serve as a Client Representative in this role.

The Role: PMT Leadership — Piping Division

As part of the Peak Ocean PMT, you will act strictly in the client's interest, reporting to the Engineering Manager. Your mission is to hold final technical authority over the piping division scope, ensuring the shipyard's fabrication, installation, and commissioning handover is delivered safely, to specification, and on schedule.

• Serve as the ultimate technical authority for the PMT's piping and pipe-stress division.
• Manage critical technical interfaces between Peak Ocean, the Engineering Manager, piping vendors, and classification societies (DNV/ABS).
• Lead the review and final sign-off of stress isometrics, flexibility analysis reports, hydrostatic/pneumatic test procedures, and pressure-system commissioning handover packages.
• Manage and mentor the Senior and Piping Engineers on site.
• Hold final accountability for the piping division's contribution to on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with the Asset Readiness Lead on piping inputs to the critical spares list and two-year spares list.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Piping Engineering.
• Comprehensive understanding of ASME B31.3/B31.5, API 6A/16C, API RP 686, and Classification Society rules (ABS/DNV).
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in offshore/marine construction or fabrication.
• Minimum 5+ years of PMT / Client Representative experience leading teams.
• Excellent command and with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
