Mechanical Technician $2600-$2800 Sembawang Airbase #5252 - Part-Time

1. Location: Sembawang Airbase

2. Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 0800 to 1745

3. Salary Range: $2600 - $2800

Job Responsibilities: 

• Performed preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in accordance with maintenance schedules and technical work instructions

• Diagnosed equipment faults, troubleshot technical issues, and carried out repairs to ensure operational readiness and reliability

• Executed maintenance activities while meeting quality standards and committed turnaround time (TAT) requirements

• Inspected equipment, identified defects, and implemented corrective actions to maintain safety and performance standards

• Provided feedback and recommendations to improve maintenance processes, operational efficiency, and service quality

• Maintained proper documentation of maintenance activities, equipment status, and service records

• Supported customers by providing technical assistance and responding to maintenance-related enquiries

• Monitored equipment serviceability, tracked Estimated Time of Recovery (ETR), and provided regular status updates and KPI reports

• Assisted in reliability analysis by collecting maintenance data and supporting spare parts planning

• Ensured workshop facilities, tools, and work areas were maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition

Job Requirements:

• NITEC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or related engineering discipline

• Experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or maintenance-related industries

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated team player with good communication skills

• Class 3 driving license preferred

• Willing to travel overseas for assignments of 1–3 months when required
